Our commitment

Color-blind inclusive design is non-negotiable in everything I build — on this site and in the work I do for clients. ohdanib.com was designed and built to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard set by the W3C.

What that means in practice

• All text passes WCAG AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for body, 3:1 for large headlines). Most pass AAA (7:1+).
• Interactive elements never rely on color alone. Hover and focus states use a non-color secondary indicator (underline, weight, motion).
• All images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked aria-hidden.
• The site is keyboard-navigable. A skip-to-content link appears on focus.
• Focus indicators are visible (3px sage outline, 3px offset).
• Animations and transitions respect prefers-reduced-motion.
• Form fields have associated labels and aria attributes.

Where we know we're imperfect

Some linked third-party content, such as documents hosted on other sites, follows those sites' accessibility standards, which we don't control. Some older portfolio images may not yet have complete descriptions.
